"Travco" Marina, Sharm - and Ian
This is taken in the early morning of our first day aboard Mahy. Ian had slept aboard and was just about to leave for work at Emperor Divers in Naama Bay. Good photo for a CV?
James, our Dive Guide
James, who worked for Emperor Divers, was our Dive Guide for the week, and took a great deal of trouble to present artistic and accurate plans of the sites we were about to dive
Charlie and the stuck computer
Charlie's Aladin Pro got stuck at 1.2m depth after one of the dives, and couldn't be turned off. We thought if we reduced the pressure by 0.1bar we could stop it... but couldn't suck for long enough to make it work!

Fish for dinner
The food on board Mahy was excellent, with the chef always decorating the dishes most beautifully as well as cooking them well. Today it was fresh tuna, caught off the dive platform with a lure.

Hard work, this diving

Claire, doing a spot of Egyptian style fitness training

Mohamed, with the latest fresh catch

Most of the fish got frozen for the crew to take home and sell, but we did eat some of them - delicious!

Andy, defying death!

From the sun deck, it was a long way down

They didn't catch me doing that!

Sports Diver theory lessons
Robin, Andy, Claire and Susannah doing their theory exam... which they all passed!

Birthday Boy Oliver
Oliver had his 16th birthday during the trip, and our chef made a magnificent cake to celebrate the occasion.

Who was taking the photo
Ian's hotel
Not bad - a room here, 5 yards from the pool, costs him $8 per night, including full service and electricity.
